Do you have any suggestions for Bariatric Rollators for someone 5’3″?
Hi Amy,
Thank you for stopping by.
I currently have not done a post dedicate to that yet. So,I did some research to try and find something that fits your need. Getting a Bariatric Rollator that is made for 5’3″ exact is not easy. But I found ones that are closer to your height ( starts at 5’4″ and above). I will recommend two but you are welcome to choose something different. check out http://amzn.to/2mtOG1q and http://amzn.to/2nn3n46.
Let me know if there is anyway I can stil help you.I would be glad to help.
Thank you
I’m am 5’3″ and 159lbs I want to purchase the Drive Medical Junior Rollator.. I would use it mostly outside or shopping.. Do you think it would be suitable for me?
Hi Robin,
Yes, I believe it will be good for you because it is one of those rollators for your height and is good for both indoors and outdoors usage.
Let me know if there is anything I can help with.
Thank you.
Hi,
Interesting article. I am wondering if other short people have my problem. I am 5’1″ and 100 lbs but seem to have short lower leg requiring a 15 inch seat height- shockinly, not even available in pediatric/junior rollators. I suppose all those little disabled kids are supposed to be able to jump onto the seat. I also seem to have short arms requiring a higher handle height of 34″. You would think that all the manufacturers could think about people who are not average.
Hi Evalyn,
Sorry to hear that these manufacturers are not really catering for the needs of people like you. I think you can also get a custom-made one for you or get the one with adjustable seat height and arm rest adjustable.
Let me know how it goes.
Thank you
Hi,
Do you have the information on companies that make custom-made rollators for specialized needs? I am also having a difficult time finding a rollator that fits my client’s small stature.
Thanks!
Hi Alicia,
Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately I currently do not have such information but I will do research and make such information available.
Thank you.
